In the face of targeted attacks on queer and trans communities, Stonewall Community Foundation is launching a request for proposals to support organizations that take back queer power, stand tall in the face of adversity, and ensure our community has the resources necessary to thrive.
Seeded by the Mark L. Brandt Legacy Fund at Stonewall Community Foundation, multiple organizations will be awarded two-year general operating grants of up to $20,000 per year.
This grant initiative prioritizes organizations that

Have budgets of $1MM or under
Two funding tracks will be considered:
1) Advocacy & Power Building for organizations that are:
Engaged in coalition building and community-led solutions
Working towards policy interventions and narrative shifting
Engaged in civic participation, mobilization and base-building
2) Community Resilience for organizations that are:
Providing direct services to vulnerable LGBTQ populations (e.g., shelter, legal services, mental or sexual health services, support groups)
